What To Expect On A Sunday

St. Thomas offers two worship services on Sundays. Having recently welcomed our new Rector, Reverend Copeland Johnston, we are returning to our traditional schedule of 8:00 and 10:00 services every Sunday morning. The 8am service is a spoken Holy Eucharist and lasts approximately 35 minutes. After church many parishioners continue fellowship by having breakfast at The Grill in Bath.

The 10am service has music with the organ. The service lasts approximately 50 minutes followed by coffee hour in the parish hall (Noe Building).

We know there are many visitors to Bath and the church is a casual, comfortable environment. You will be surrounded by people who love God and love you. Whether you’re wearing a suit and tie, or shorts and flip-flops, you are welcome here.

We do not have nursery care, but we also know little voices give our worship life and joy. Children are most welcome in worship. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Occasionally, there will be a 9am service only, which is usually Morning Prayer.
