What To Expect On A Sunday

St. Thomas offers two worship services on Sundays. The 8am service is a spoken Holy Eucharist and lasts approximately 35 minutes. After church many parishioners continue fellowship by having breakfast at The Grill in Bath.

The 10am service has music with the organ. The service lasts approximately 50 minutes followed by coffee hour, hosted by volunteer parishioners, in the parish hall (Noe Building).

Occasionally there will be one service only at 9 am; this may be Eucharist or Morning Prayer.

We know there are many visitors to Bath and the church is a casual, comfortable environment. You will be surrounded by people who love God and love you. Whether you’re wearing a suit and tie, or shorts and flip-flops, you are welcome here.

We do not have nursery care, but we also know little voices give our worship life and joy. Children are most welcome in worship. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”  On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Noisy Buckets Sunday. Children in the congregation participate by passing buckets for the everyone to unload their loose change; each year the children decide which charity to give the funds to. It is a noisy event with great participation by the children and adults!
