Starting Monday, August 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., we will gather for our first weekly happy hour at Blackbeard’s Tavern called “Religion on Tap.” We will all meet in the “back bar” for fellowship and a chance to gather outside of church. Joe Tomaini has generously offered to underwrite some pizza and wings for the first gathering, but we will take up an offering for the subsequent weeks. This will also be a “BYOB”(Buy Your Own Beverage) event. Enjoy a cold soft drink, something on tap, or an adult beverage with one another, talk about life, church, your workday, or other musings. We are grateful to the ownership and staff of Blackbeard’s Tavern for opening the space to us.

We will continue Religion on Tap so long as the interest endures and everyone behaves like respectable parishioners and not unruly pirates! Argh!
