SUMMARY:Stations of the Cross and Soup Supper
DESCRIPTION:We begin our Lent Soup Suppers on February 25th. Please join us as we walk the Stations of the Cross (also known as the Way of the Cross or Way of Sorrows) every Wednesday in Lent at 5:00 p.m. followed by a medley of delicious soups. We will ALL enjoy and benefit from this collaborative effort in creating these Stations on our campus. Thank you\, Sharon\, Susan\, and all the individuals and households who are contributing to this artistic creation. \nThe Stations of the Cross started in Jerusalem as Christians traveled to the city on pilgrimage to walk where Jesus walked on his way to Golgotha’s Hill. The Stations were later adapted for local churches for people who were unable to make the arduous journey to the Holy Land. This is a wonderful tradition that affords us an opportunity to go deeper into the mystery of Christ’s Passion for us and the world. Please bring a friend!

SUMMARY:Chili Cook-off and Silent Auction
DESCRIPTION:It’s time for the Second Annual Chili Cook Off and Silent Auction \nLast year St. Thomas Bath began a new tradition of a pre-Lenten Chili Cook Off. The proceeds of this dinner were earmarked for the church’s largest outreach program: Back Pack Pals School Feeding Program. \nWe are reprising our dinner again this year with 8+ chili chefs entered into the contest. Tickets are $15 for all you can eat including cornbread\, crackers\, tea\, and dessert. There will again be a Silent Auction with many wonderful items and baskets being offered for your consideration. \nThis year the proceeds will be earmarked for the St. Thomas Outreach Program which supports various community services including the Beaufort County Literacy program\, the Center for the Blind\, Pruitt  Scholarship Fund\, Back Pack Pals\, and ARC of Beaufort County. \nSo mark Feb 13 on your calendar\, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm to enjoy dinner\, vote on your favorite type of chili\, and pick up some great gift baskets. Bring your family\, bring your friends !!! See you in the Noe Building.
